Marcia received her Master of Arts degree in English from the University of New Orleans and obtained her undergraduate degree there as well. She completed paralegal studies in her home town of St. Louis, Missouri. Prior to relocating from New Orleans, Louisiana to join WLI, Marcia was a law office administrator and provided litigation assistance to various defense firms in the areas of contract litigation/NASD arbitration, labor law, workers compensation and maritime law. She also provided support for a Louisiana State Supreme Court justice. After that, Marcia assisted in the defense of multidistrict litigation involving mass tort claims/medical products liability and medical malpractice and supported in-house counsel for the Louisiana Medical Mutual Insurance Company, representing physicians throughout the state in the Medical Review Panel process and litigation. Marcia joined WLI in 2005 as a Claims Analyst.
