Michelle graduated with honors from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas in 1993 with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Michelle maintains her license as a Registered Nurse in Texas. She received her Juris Doctorate, graduating cum laude from Thurgood Marshall School of Law in 1999. Michelle was the first TSU law school graduate to become a briefing attorney for the Court of Appeals, First District of Texas. Michelle pursued both an appellate and medical malpractice litigation practice for the next six years in Houston, defending physician’s and hospitals in medical negligence matters. Michelle joined the team of attorneys at Western Litigation, Inc. in 2006.
